Attractions

North Devon Show is the premier agricultural spectacle in the region and will have something for everyone. 

The Main Ring
Each year we arrange a number of different acts and attractions to perform in the Main Ring. For a detailed schedule of the performers and times see local press information and check in the Show Programme.

The Belle Vue Ring
The smaller more intimate arena which allows for greater audience participation in the performances. Again the schedule will be published in the local press nearer the time.

The Flower marquee
Plays host to a fantastic array of flora cultivated locally by expert nurserymen.  During the day there will be a live question and answer session hosted by representatives from RHS and St Johns Garden Centre who will be there to answer your gardening conundrums.

The Foodhall
Let your taste buds go on a culinary journey across the region by sampling some of the best food and drink from local producers. Help to support these thriving cottage industries by continuing your exploration of regional produce at home!  In need of some inspiration? With 5 cookery demonstrations during the day you’re sure to find something that gets your tummy rumbling!

Craft Tent
Over 50 stalls of hand made items created by local crafters.  Grab yourself an exclusive design from some of our most gifted artists and skilled craftspeople.  If you feel inspired, take a moment to watch the spinning demonstration and then try your hand at it there and then.

The Mall & Arcade
In need of some retail therapy? The Mall and Arcade marquees provide a covered marketplace to browse, shop and find yourself a bargain.

Womens Institiute
In the WI tent witness the North Devon Regional Club summer competition. Who will win the prizes for the best flower arrangement, homemade cake and needlework? It doesn’t get any tougher than this!

Poultry Marquee
Organised by the Taw and Torridge Poultry Club. Interested in taking up a new hobby? The club have created an exhibition to demonstrate the best practice for keeping your own flock. On hand to provide expert advice and recommendations the poultry tent is great a place to learn more about where our food comes from.

Rural Skills
Keeping traditional skills alive. During the day watch the progress in the Rural Skills area as regional master craftsmen show off their talents. Working using age old hand tool techniques admire the fine workmanship that comes from their unrivalled knowledge of natural materials.

Country Pursuits
Demonstrated in the Field Sports Arena where you can cheer the racing ferrets, admire the trained gun dogs at work and even try your hand at fly casting.  An area not to be missed if you want to learn more about work and leisure in the countryside and how you can take part.

Vintage Tractors and Cars
50 vehicles will be on display all lovingly restored and polished by their owners.  A part of the show where Grandad can reminisce with likeminded soul’s who would rather not be slaves to modern technology.

Fun Fair
Keep the children happy with traditional fair ground rides and the famous swing seats from Raymond Amusements.
